You must be reading my mind – I thought the same thing – you can’t even muy a Mercury Thermometer anymore.
I had to go count all my mercury lightbulbs before I could answer this question. I have 12. To be fair though, I wasn’t aware of the mercury content. I just kept hearing how they were good for saving energy. I find it odd that we aren’t supposed to be using mercury thermometers, but they thought it was okay to force us to put Mercury containing lightbulbs throughout our houses.
Do you think if I stick one of those bulbs in my son’s mouth it will detect a fever as well?
