Wind Turbine help please?
Im doing a project for school and i need to make a wind turbine that can light up an LED. I already have the wind turbine itself built, but im lost as how to convert the mechanical energy of the spinning shaft into electrical energy. My teacher gave us all 50 feet of copper wire to get us started. Other than that i have no idea where to go from here.

You have to make a small generator and couple it to your turbine.So when your turbine spins it produce electricity
Better use a cycle dynamo or building a small generator needs permanent magnet, coils etc.
Principle is a conductor,magnetic field and motion of the conductor in the magnetic field in the generator produce voltage
